The Good

All right, even though lots of commentable things have been happening of late, I've been too bogged down with school and caught up w/ Radiata Stories (That game is a serious life-stealer.), to take the time to do so. I'm now going to attempt to ctach up!

First, good stuff! Yay for new TV! I'm more of an addict now than ever. This year I seriously wrote out a schedual! I'm lovin' all my old favs, which brings me to Lost, "Holy Shit! It's the guy!" ( Spoilers )

And how seriously sad was House? **Fingers crossed for Arrested Devel.** One week til Alias!! A day til Avatar (Huzzah for Nickelodian--sp?--cartoons!.)And yay for ME Werner on SVU; she's got a face-thing in the opening credits!

...As for new tv, I'm diggin' Prison Break, recorded (and have yet to watch) My Name is Earl and the Office, which I only discovered this summer, what I saw of Invasion looked decent (I missed a chunk of it b/c I'd missed the first 20 minutes of Lost, and of course had to go back and watch it ASAP. Now I've that song stuck in my head.), and will watch Everyone Hates Chris tonight. If it's good I'll record it once Alias starts. And, oh, watched the premier of Threshold--it freaked me the hell out. I had nightmares from that show. (But, I've always been a bit of a scaredy-cat, so...)

Now, another ooooo! for Xenosaga tres! I'll have to do a special annalysis post for that. XD But, more good news on the game front: A Brave New World! Yep, read that write, we get Shadow Hearts III! And this new company sound quite promising, if I do say so myself.

And, erm. I think that's all the good stuff. If I missed anything, I suppose I can edit it in... Oh, yeah, hugs for Lost for it's Emmys and "Three Stories" too!

And, yay for all those Harry Potter trailers! I'm so psyched for the next movie!

The Bad

Bitch slap time. William Shatner? Seriously? William Shatner won an Emmy?! What's up w/ that? If Naveen and Terry are gonna lose at least have it be to someone worthy! Not Captain "My chair....it's....gotta...mind-of-it's-own" (Stealing quote from Simpsons, there.)Kirk. I mean... Seriously? And outrage at Hugh Laurie's loss! Not only is he acting spectacularly, but he's doing it w/ an accent, which is only detectable if you pay very close attentions to his 'r's--on occasion. C'mon!

And now a small Alias rant b/c the rumors of ( Spoilers )

are really starting to seem tangible. Now, I wouldn't nec. mind if it was just a part of the story, and this is Alias and ( Spoilers )

, but my problem is the whole Ben Affleck (How do you spell his name? I'm too lazy to look it up.) thing. That's what really upsets me, and if it is true then I stand strongly opposed. It just isn't right. Not right at all! **shakes fist**

(Hmmm. This wasn't so much a rant as a whine, eh?)

The Ugly

Ugly as in really bad: The hurricanes. 'Tis awful. It was, however, nice to here people talking about how happy they were the Mexicans had landed. (I get so sick of hearing people complain about immigrants. Apparently they think the Statue of Liberty applies only to those of Anglo-Saxon origin? [What was the name of the act that used to restrict immigration? It was around the same time as the Sedition Act...I think. US History seems so far away...] Or wait, no, the SoL was given to us by the French, and we don't like them, and so it's meaningless. That must be it. {/sarcasm})
