Yay for the snow! ...Even if we didn't get nearly as much as those lying Weather Channel bastards predicted and the Atlantic screwed us over again--still yay! Because six inches, while not twelve or above, is still a decent amount of snow.
And yay for the Olympics just because I think it's really neat that all the countries actually get together and do this. And I am a bigger fan of the winter olympics than summer, so double yay. Though, tear for Michelle Kwan. I've be waiting for her to win gold for forever. Ah well, it's nice of her, though, to let someone take her place. And, while roughly on the subject, what was with the 70-80s disco mix they were playing while the athletes walked in? Is it like all the rage in Italy or is it the only cd they had lying around or... I guess I'll let it slide b/c over all I did like the opening ceremonies. Even if it did have some kinda "bad-school-play-produced-with-a-really-large-budget" moments, how cool was the lighting of the torch? Very, that's how!
