I swear to God if I lose both of my old guys in the same week, I will... I will... I will do something drastic! First Jack, now Iroh! (And don't get me started on all my other old men loves who were so cruelly snatched away.)

...But Iroh can't be dead. He groaned. He can't be dead. The Avatar Fury thing has to be in line with the season. And Iroh is in it. Iroh will live! ...Deep breaths. Deep breaths. Damn you, Zuko! Why didn't you accept Katara's help? Gah!
...But, okay, okay... Moving on.
How awesome was that ElementsUnite! attack? I loved seeing them all fighting together. (But I'm a sap like that.) And eee, they were in the order of the Avatar cycle! (And, well, maybe in order of Aangs teachers if the Zuko thing pans out. That is Katara taught him first, followed by Toph, and who's that standing next to Toph? Zuko! ...Though I don't know whether or not I believe in that theory. But I guess I do like the idea of it.)
The Iroh-Toph stuff was golden!
Squee for the kinda Zutara (okay, not really, but hey, let a girl dream) moments. Katara mentions Zuko. "Defends" the ponytail. She offers to help. I'm not sure whether that final zoom in was just showing Katara and Toph together or whether it was more Katara centric, in which case I don't know what that means but I'll take it as Zutara even though I know it totally is not. But, as I've said, let me dream. OOO! I'm also going to twist the fact that it came down to Katara-Mei as Zutara too. Why? Because I can. And I'm way too hyper. (God, I've turned into one of those people I've always hated. Y'know, the sort who totally read into things and distort them to suit their purposes? But, I can't help it. Sigh. At least, I realize I'm being delusional. Stupid evil logic telling my crazy shipper side not to get her hopes up. **Grumbles, grumbles**)
Heee... I've always kinda had a soft spot for Ty Lee/Sokka. So, that comment made me happy. (Of course, the dogs decided to bark during it, but thanks me trusty VCR and VHS tape, I was able to rewind and catch it!)
Toph is awesome and bratty. I <3 her.
Toph vs Katara was everything I'd hoped it'd be and more. Y'know what I find amusing? Toph can trash talk Katara and Sokka, Aang doesn't really care. But say something about Appa...and he'll go "O no u di-int!"
I'll grant Azula some points for her Zuko impression. (Even though, in some ways, it just makes me hate her even more.) And Sokka's Zuko description owns! Owns, I say!
No one commented on Zuko's hair. I thought for sure when we had them talking about his ponytail we'd get some recognition of the fact he no longer has one.
And, um, thank all we have an episode next week. We best see what happens to Iroh. Or Zuko. Or...oh!
