...and the total disappointment of this fan. All right, so the "Avatar movie" was a bit of let down--to me, anyway. Maybe it's just the result of waiting over a month for new episodes and the knowledge that there's no use getting excited as it will be two more month before the episodes continue. Maybe it's the total anticlimatic feel of the ending, or what I feel was wasted potential. I don't know. All I know is I'm feeling pretty dissatisfied at the moment.

Even though things happened, I kind of feel like nothing happened. But I know things did happen, because they've set things up for future episodes. I mean, now we know why everyone is going to Ba Sing Se and why they can't just fly on Appa and how Iroh and Zuko will get in and blahblahblah.

I guess, for the most part, I do feel like so much potential was lost. I mean, take the spirit library. All kinds of super great ancient info; so much cool knowledge right there. And all we got to learn was that Aang was left handed in a past life and firebenders can't bend during a solar eclipse, a fact I think most had already surmised. I guess I was expecting to learn more about the spirits in general, the spirit world, or about the animal associated with the firenation, or any other fun fact. It was a cool looking place, though. And way to go Zhao, pissing off the owl.

The secret society felt like a waste too. We seriously need more Iroh info. And I for one would like to know what, exactly, is up with the society. What do they do; what are their beliefs; how does one become involve with them? I'd also kinda hoped to see some cool secret stuff as well--though the pai sho thing they did was neat and love for the return of the Lotus Tile.

And what was up with the ending? It was like, "Aww, he's crying. Let momma!Katara dry those tears..." Such a sweet scene. Fade to white and credits. Buh-wuh? Where's the rest of the episode? Oh, it's the end? Two more months? I hate you.

But, okay, it wasn't all bad.

The Toph/Appa scenes did amuse. And Toph has just endeared herself to me even more. Her reaction to the Library sinking and the Appa theives... I don't see how anyone can not like her. (Though, I'm sure there are still some who don't.)

Sokka was trippin'. And it did amuse.

Katara is awesome, and the group would be screwed without her.

The pop culture refs continue, this time with Star Wars. Anakin!Aang. Sand people. ...A desert!

The new info about the Rough Rinos, or riders or whatever they're called, twas good.

Nice to see those dudes who are after Toph.

So Iroh is still injured, eh? Still, the guy can still kick ass. He's so awesome. XD

And so now everyone will be in Ba Sing Se. I expect good things, and good interraction between the groups. And I'll focus on looking forward to the spoilers brought forth from Comic-Con. **hopes for some good reports**
