Really, I hate it when things like this happen but...new Avatar on Turbonick!
JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
My God! They killed Jet!! Jet! Oh, I really did end up liking him--evil murdering-ness aside. And now he's dead. And I mourn! And Longshot! And the Jettara! And Jet's flashback! JJJJJJEEEEEEEEETTTT! Oh, tear! Tear tear tear tear tear! Jet!
(And a moment of silence for Jet/Mai and Jet->Zuko, which may always have been crack but were still hella fun. And they're still fun...but won't ever be as fun again. Actually, it'll prob. be a while before they are fun again at all...)
But, okay, Zuko! The return of badass!Zuko and the Blue Spirit! ...And then the death of Blue Spirit...unless Zuko gets another mask again, but I really don't see that happening. (I guess that means all Bluetara is henceforth AU... I guess it always kinda was anyway, but still...)
Iroh is awesome. (I'd go with that Jasemine name.) He finally let Zuko have it and it was amazing. (Although, Zuko did have a pretty good plan for getting into the prison what with the fake Blue Spirit and all... You know who Zuko needs? A plan guy. **looks innocently over at Sokka**) And he let Appa go! I was half hoping they'd be on him at the end there but knew they wouldn't.
Really, I can't imagine Zuko not joining the Gaang as the show goes on--even if I hesitate to say it since I desperately want it to happen and don't want to jinx it. The only way I could see around it is if he goes off to search for Ursa, but even then he'd still need some sort of transportation. And I fail to see how having him travel around some more would advance the plot seeing as how we've had an entire season of it already. And Iroh's line about the Avatar's friends just adds to it. ...Although I do kinda get the feeling we def. have an Ursa search on the horizon what with the creator's coments and pending spiritual crisis.
But back to Jet! I cannot wait for screencaps of his flashback. And gah! The Rough Rinos are the ones who killed his family. (And now they must go down!)
I did enjoy the Jettara. And Toph's lines to Katara were so out of a Zutara fic...just about Jet. I loved her whole woman-scorned thing. And all his flashbacky bits before reverting back to Jet. Good stuff.
Other random stuff:
So...Zuko and Iroh are now in the next circle...middle circle? Upper circle...? They edge closer to the gaang...not that I think that matters. And the gaang's house is kinda lacking a wall. "Yeah! Let's break some rules!" ...Seriously, where are they planning to go?
Was the Guru's note on Appa's horn?
Sokka's drawings amuse.
Toph's "Worst...city...ever." was love. (Oh, Comic Book Guy!)
Y'know, I'll be disappointed if the gaang and Zuko never swap info as in we all know Jet and Zuko freed Appa, etc.
And that's all for now, I guess.
Of course, the bitch of it all is now I have to wait until the 17th to find out what happens next. ...It's harder waiting two weeks than yay new Avatar no new Avatar but next week...yay new Avatar! (I'm still kinda used to the very other week thing season one did... And, yes, I am a whiny brat...and very little of the above makes sense.)
