The Office:

The Office: Heee! And squeee! And giant <3! So, I actually missed some of it due to a phone call, and really need to rewatch it to catch some of the jokes near the beginning but it was still good stuff. I really like where this has left us for next season!

Yay for Jim and Pam; I was hoping he'd walk in while she was doing her talking head thing at the end there. And he did! And yay! When Karen left Jim @ the interview I knew that they're relationship was doomed. Not that it wasn't doomed from it's inception, but that it was doomed in this episode, it's demise imminent. (Not that I don't think we'll still see some drama relating to it come season 4...) And did Jim totally just leave Karen in NYC? I'm no Karen hater, but for some reason this amuses me. (Although, when I think of it, if he did just leave her, that was kinda really dickish; but who cares? He's going to dinner with Pam!)

I just loved Pam this episode; she made me so proud last week, and I'm even more proud of her refusal to step away from her little speech. And I <3 her bitchy comment, even though I will concede that from Karen's perspective it was bitchy. (Again, who cares? Jam ftw!) And her interractions with Dwight were priceless! "Absolutely I do."

And Ryan is such a snake! And now he's Michael's boss! Oh, this will be good! (Poor Kelly, heh.)

Jan has lost it; and Karen's right, she is nuts, but I'm with Jim, I feel bad for her. (And Michael; what has he gotten himself into, for real.)

Creed thoughts! Stanely nickles (and their relation to Schrute bucks)! I love it!

Ugly Betty:

Gah, the cliffhangers. I love this show and it's over-the-topness to no end! I'd be worried about Santos, but since Drive was cancelled and no one said he was dead, I have hopes for his return/living. Still, see Hilda collapse like that tugged at my hearstrings. And Justin can sing pretty damn well. There really needs to be an Ugly Betty Musical epsiode. (Hey, if they could make it work for Buffy, they can make it work for Betty!)

And ha! I remember thinking that the scene at Charlie's birthday part was just screaming that the couples needed to swap to make all well, and lo and behold the orthodontist and Charlie really were having a thing! What the hell? That's awesome! And Betty and Henry are adorable as per usual.

Here's hoping Amanda's father is still her father and not Bradford. I know Betty is soap-y, but Daniel having sex with his half-sister and Amanda being in love with her half-brother is just oh so way too wrong. Still, twist! Le gasp!

Grey's Anatomy

Grey's has been annoying me for some time, and the finale didn't help.

I cannot stand Izzy. The Gizze continues to annoy. I mean, what the hell? "If you want to be with Callie, I'll support you." What? You were against the union from the start, save that one small scene which actually prompted his proposal. You've been out to destroy the relationship the whole time! Why not, if you are his best friend and love him so very much, have supported him and it from the start? (Word.)

I'm usually a Callie fan, but the baby thing? Again, what the hell? You've been married for...not very long, and are fearful of Gizzie. Why do you want a kid? (Unless she thinks this will somehoe bring stability and help her stake her claim in George on some subconscious level?)

Mer/Der. Meh. I could do without the drama, but hey, it was inevitable. This is why I wanted the vet to stick around a little longer.

Alex; not sure. I mean, there was a time I thought there could have been something with him and Ava, but then there was the Addison/Alex, which Ava supported, and it seemed pretty platonic. But then he busts out the, "She was beautiful!" line and Ava suddenly wants him to give her a reason to stay, and it didn't really make sense in the context of other things, but whatever, okay.

Burke/Cristina; I mourne. Burke's vows were amazing, and I am so with Addison. I knew Burke would call it off, but Cristina was such a pretty bride and I hoped, but no. The ending killed me. Sandra Oh did a stand up job there.

So George failed. And new interns. (Hrm. Meredith's half-sister?)

But all of this begs one very big question, since these exams were supposed to come at the end of their intern year, does that mean that we are supposed to believe all of this happened in one year? Because, whoa. No. And if so, the writers need to stop acting like their writing realistic things. I mean, they never were, and I have no problem suspending my disbelief when watching tv (Alias, I mean, c'mon!). However, the times I've read the blog, they always sound to me as if they think they ARE righting something very real. And the idea that Izzy started her intern year, had her flirtation with Alex, met Denny, had sex and drama with Alex, met Denny again, fell OMG! madly in love with him to the point of cutting his L-VAD and agreeing to marry him, mourned for Denny, got drunk and had sex with George, and fell OMG! madly in love with George, is just ridiculous.

Incidentally, I'm upset about American Idol. I wanted Melinda to win.
