All right, I'm slowly working at accepting that K/Z will never happen, and they prob. are leaning more towards a K/A implication, but I still can't help hoping, you know? (Evil, EVIL hope!) So here's my wish:
Aang steals Katara's necklace back, right? (I'll admit this kinda disappointed me, and were I a K/A shipper I'd be laughing at this irony.) Then there's the whole joke about Zuko wanting Aang to give it to her and Katara's "oh that's so sweet, give him a kiss for me," and then kissing Aang (on the cheek, of course!) Right, so what I'd like to see is, in the future--and I mean like Book III, since, lets face it, it's really too early for stuff like this to be happening esp. b/c it involves Zuko turning good, and if that doesn't happen, I'll be very surprised--Zuko either actually returns something to Katara/gives her something she wants/needs or actually does give something to Aang that he knows she needs or...you know something along those lines...and Katara gives her same response, only this time she isn't being sarcastic and the proper recipient recieves the kiss. Tee-hee, you gotta love parallelism!
Like I said, hoping against hope or whatever. I still just don't see the whole K/A thing actually happening. I mean, something's there and it is cute; there's no denying that, but... meh, I dunno... Part of me still can't help calling it K/Z. ...Hm, all else failing K/Z can be my first official non-cannon ship! (Non-cannon as in "evidence against" or "evidence nonexistent for this ship but strong for another.") ...And that might be fun... I'll have to develope a taste for fanfic...
