A Tentative Tangling of Tendrils

If they say the entire East Coast will be able to see the rocket launch, the entire East Coast should be able to see the rocket launch...in stead of standing out in the freezing cold and withstanding the mocking comments of ones family to see nothing. (I blame the casinos; Damn you, Donald Trump!! *shakes fist*) On the plus side, I did see a shooting star...only I messed up the wording of my wish, and we all know that whatever divine entity is granting wishes, it is very particular in regard to our wordings and is always looking for mistake/loop-hole through which it can screw us over. *is both superstitious AND paranoid*

Apparently if a recipe says it makes 5-8 dozen cookies, you should be prepared to make a lot of cookies. (I can do this math...that's...6...0 to 8 times 2 is...16, carry the one, that's 96...? 60 to 96 cookies? And I sprinkled and iced 'em all! Go me.)

House: Oh, House. Oh, Wilson. And Cameron, please shut-up. I never really got the hate some people have for her character, and I've never really minded her before, but she was definitely pissing me off this past episode.

The Office: <3; I wonder what it means that my biggest squee of the episode was the Pam/Toby moment? Must be my affection for Toby. Aww, and Dwight and Angela were cute in a non-creepy way. lol @ the commercial break "Which will Stanley choose?" cliffhanger. (I thought he was just going to leave.) Poor Phyllis. Where was Bob Vance? And, last but no least, Oscaaar!

Avatar: I just realized why the possiblity of HeadofHair!Aang excites me. He can be ruffled now; his hair can be ruffled. If ever there was a non-existent cartoon kid whose [hypothetical] hair I wanted to ruffle, it's Aang. I will now be holding out the entire season for someone (I nominate you, Katara!) to ruffle his [hypothetical] hair and most likely am fated to write an angry letter when no one does. Ruffle!

So, there's a lot of Xeno info stuff I need to catch up on. More specifically, this. But I need to be in a mental state where I can put two thoughts together and actually comprehend what I'm reading for that.

In the meantime, I was just skimming through this--really, I still need to read through it throrougly and will do so ones my brain recovers from the end of the semester--and must fangirl.

Wilhelm himself, since he too is an existence within the Dimensional Universe, is not exempt from the resetting of Eternal Recurrence. In other words, Wilhelm is also someone who forgets all memories and repeats experiences from the beginning.
Even while understanding this is so, he still aims for Eternal Recurrence....
Just as chaos could instinctively use Lemegeton, Wilhelm possesses as a part of himself the Compass of Order and Chaos. Having lost all memory due to Eternal Recurrence, he instinctively comes to discover the power that he himself possesses by intently watching the movement of flowing consciousness. And then, by reading the movement of consciousness there, he begins to understand what he must not fail to accomplish.

Wilhelm is just awesome, and that's all there is to it. I love that he forgets. That means he's coming up with his mad manipulations every time from scratch! He's one badass mofo. XD ...And the fact that chaos forgets makes a couple of things I had wondered about make sense as well.

In order to conceal the Vessels of Anima from Wilhelm’s eye, Rennes-le-Chateau was chosen by the hand of the devotees of Maria. The reason it was chosen is not clear. ... The devotees of Maria were an anti-Wilhelm force that rejected the future of Eternal Recurrence, and to them, Rennes-le-Chateau was the very fortress itself for the sake of preventing this circle of eternity. ... When Lost Jerusalem was on the verge of being reduced down to Planck Scale, and as humanity was escaping to the universe, Wilhelm recovered the Vessels of Anima from Rennes-le-Chateau. However, he could not simultaneously recover Maria’s body. Although the Vessels of Anima had been recovered, the reason that Maria’s body wasn’t able to be recovered is unclear. No one is omnipotent; not even Wilhelm. Could there perhaps have been some kind of existence in that place that obstructed Wilhelm’s power and plans?

This just makes everything so much more interesting. I really wish we could know all about their relationships in the past. (I admit it, I've got a soft spot for the Y/M/W love-triangle even though I doubt one existed. Still, some sort of triangle does/did...and I just know it's amazing. ...And I wonder, if Rennes-le-Chateau was meant to be kept secret from Wilhelm, how he found out. And, yes, why couldn't he recover Maria/y? Curious. Very curious. (Reading these, I really do get a feeling that they meant for all of these things that "aren't clear" to be explained in a later game. A later game that most likely will never come. Tear.)

So, having slept and immersed myself in horrifically boring things like term papers this morning, I believe I have finally calmed down enough to be some what coherent...

An ongoing debate with the brother-in-law:

The orignal movie versions of the Frankenstein monster, the Mummy, Wolfman, and Dracula get into a fight. Who wins?

The bro-in-law says Frankenstein. I say he's an idiot, and Wolfman would totally own Frank's ass. Think about it. Frank may have the superior strength, but he's got no mobility. He'd be staggering around, wildly swinging his arms from side to side, and going "Unghh," while the Wolfman ran around behind him and slashed.

We both agreed that the Mummy stands no chance (because, really, what does the Mummy even DO?) and that Dracula would have to bite to win, and Frank has those bolts and Wolfman's got all that fur. So Vlad's out too.

We've yet to reach a consensus. However, I did get him to admit that if Dracula and Wolfman teamed up, Frank's done.

Really, I hate it when things like this happen but...new Avatar on Turbonick!

Of course, the bitch of it all is now I have to wait until the 17th to find out what happens next. ...It's harder waiting two weeks than yay new Avatar no new Avatar but next week...yay new Avatar! (I'm still kinda used to the very other week thing season one did... And, yes, I am a whiny brat...and very little of the above makes sense.)
